The Brief

As the sanctuary is self funded and relies heavily on volunteers and donations to run, the brief was to make a short documentary style video introducing the people who run it on a daily basis.

The idea was to showcase the plight of the staff and animals to function as both a draw for potential volunteers and a fundraising appeal.

The Result

The resulting video was a heartwarming look into the daily ups and downs in the sanctuary. It was shot in a mainly interview style with cutaway shots to illustrate the points being covered by the interviewed staff.

Upbeat music was applied to the background of the video to keep the tone from become too sad, The video currently has just under 8000 views and has helped raise a lot of money for the sanctuary.
